Rick,
This is a little off the original subject but I was interested to note your
distinction between melting temperature and wetting temperature. I agree
that is an important point and I wonder how you got your estimate of 235/7C for
the wetting temperature of the SAC305. I suspect that for the high-tin
lead-free solders "wetting temperature" is not strongly related to the melting
temperature of the alloy but I have only anecdotal evidence to support that view.
