For temperature, stability, fluid res., UL-94V-0 ,etc., for many, many
years connector companies have been using  materials such as LCP, Peek
and GE's Ultem.    .   But this is oversimplification, unless you have
ability to start with new molds, etc.   Suggest going on-line and
looking at newer products by JAE, AMP, your own ELCO-Japan, etc.   Nylon
itself has problems due to ability to hold a charge (limits use in test
connectors), is considered weak for high-density thin-wall assemblies,
and most folks need to add non-flammability agents (some of which are
now not permit) to meet 94V-0.     Don't know your applications, but
recall that IR assembly in Japan sometimes used lens-focused IR and got
away with lower-temp. plastic (incl. nylons) but the connector housings
melted when assembly was jobbed to US & other contract manufacturers who
exposed overall surface to IR/temperatures.

Is there a list of approved/recommended  moisture stable plastics for
connectors for lead free electronic assembly . Supplier is currently
using  Nylon 6/6  which is blistering after reflow.
