I just read the book, it's the usual Crichton mix: good adventure stuff,
illuminated with some science , science speculation/extrapolation and lots
of facts. I shouldn't think the environmental lobby groups will like it one
bit, the message of the book is per the speech below.

I just read a book review of Michael Crichton's "State of Fear" wriiten by
some eco-guy for the NY Times. Led me to look up Crichton. He gave an
excellent

makes excellent reading and is right along the lines of these
eco-freak-politico groups driving al lot of what is going on.
This pertains to LF-solders and halogens situations.
