For debris, a vacuum is much better than air gun, or a alcohol soaked tissue, or Q-tips. Debris should be picked up or picked out. If it is on the edge, squirt it with alcohol into a waste can.

We use a dry ionized air gun that can have the pressure varied, trying not
to lodge any debris under any components. You might look in the archives
because we had some good answers as to what types of equipment to buy and
where a few weeks ago.
