Dear TechNetters
I have several questions:
Have any of you used Tamura solderpaste Solder paste RMA - 012 - FP (
Sn62.8/Pb36.8/Ag0.4)? Did you have any issues with it? There
specification limits are not the traditional solder paste limits. It is as
follows:
Set peak temp between 210 - 240 deg C
Adjust melting time over 200 deg C for 20 to 60 seconds
Ramp rate < 4 deg C
Does anyone know why they would set the peak temperatures so high and time
above liquidus so high??
Thanks for the input.
