Dave,
Call me or Don Cullen if you need to but,

THERE IS NO REASON FOR CONCERN ABOUT MIGRATION WITH IMMERSION SILVER!!!

I took over 2 years in my investigation and qualification of IAg and never once was able to document any migration.
Silver plate options can have grounds for concern, but not Immersion.
Unfortunately everyone knows someone who had a problem with Silver (but no one has ever told me they personally have seen IAg migrate).

Talk to your PCB Supplier to get data from the correct IAg Supplier and use that to teach your customer that the "old wives tale" is just that and has no grounds for belief.

Hope it helps,
FNK

I now have a customer asking us not to use Immersion Silver due to
migration. Isn't this old news? I thought the benzomidazole and other
organic inhibitors prevented Silver migration.
