Joe,

We have used cans of aerosol with the plastic tube mounted in the spray head
from Chemtronics in the Flux-off Series for applications with tight
clearances. Admittedly this could be expensive but you did say that you do
this operation periodically. You also say that you use liquid RMA flux, I'm
surprised that you haven't burned a board yet with the Air-Vac. We had an
operator that made a mistake and used RMA liquid flux at the Air-Vac only to
have the alcohol component burn the PC board. We use tacky flux exclusively
at the Air-Vac.
