Hi Poh! I had a mentor who told me that sometimes the only way to change a
basis is to wait for the individual's retirement! It's too bad that your
customer insists on a visual crutch for quality reliance. Other Technet
guru's have suggested your only alternative - work with the soldering
process profile to minimize the solder joint surface texture
characteristics. Good Luck.

Hi Dave,

The problem is that I'm having extreme stubborn customer that insists to
meet the requirement.

I do not know how they do it, but those sample boards that they have showed
me is of smooth shining joint.

I doubt they rework all boards, as each board consists, at least 2000
solder joints.
