Joe, thanks for your observations.  we wondered the same thing, but in all
cases there is positive etchback.  is it possible to leave a remnant of
smear on the foil edge, if enough resin has been removed top and bottom as
to create positive etchback?
what do you think about the possibility of some sort of smut left as a
result of the plasma etching process that our high pressure washer couldnt
remove?
