I'm trying to determine the pro's and con's of switching from dual top
plates (with the 2nd plate drilled slightly larger) to a single top plate
(counter bored).
What I'm interested in are...
Do you use separate bits for drilling, or do you use a combo
drill/counterbore bit?
What are some of the problems you run into in counterbored plates?
We currently use 3.75" pins, what fixture configurations are you using?
Including number of plates, inner standoffs (as opposed to standoffs at the
outer perimeter only)...
Just looking for as much information as possible...all input would be
appreciated...thanks
