As a former chemist in the pest control area, I have some good news for
you......

One of the prime factors in essentially every insecticide that makes them
work is that they are also insect repellents....

So, pick virtually any insecticide....and being nicely organic, they should
absorb into soldermask, or laminate, and paint it on....

I would use one of the pyrethroids, as they are least toxic to humans,
actually virtually non-toxic, and reasonably stable, at least when not
exposed to sunlight...

paint it/spray it on the board, and your problems are probably over.
