Don't know David but it just keeps getting more dense all the time. Hence
the term/acronym HDI. However, I don't really care about the connector as
much as the interconnect circuitry.

Worked with Cray/Celestica using electrically activated connectors on 10 mil
centers and there were bunches of contacts going way back to early Cray
days. Dan Tolan was the HDI guru then and responsible for the invention.
Cray still does just fine as an example of true HDI stuff.
