Lots of work was done with BTU by HP on this and other subjects concerning
reflow and all its elements. When I was there, we took the magnahelic guages
from an in line cleaner and placed them atop the big bad reflow machine.
They were connected to the flux traps and told the story. They told us,
essentially, when it was time to clean out the "grease" traps. If levels
dropped too low, and they often did, it was time to clean.
