In my humble opinion, the board does not meet the criteria. However, I agree
with the comments about making the magnification the same as the IPC standard.
If the IPC standard is to be the referee, the magnification must be the same.
I'm not in complete agreement with the form, fit, and function comments. If
this part is used in a product with a display, keyboard, or backlighting, we
have had problems with loose fibers getting into the customer "view" area. If
the final customer can see the defect, this edge is an absolute failure. If the
board is used inside a closed box, there is more forgiveness in the roughness of
the edge.
I hope the board is blanked or punched. If this is a routed board, there are
serious problems with the process parameters.
