This measurement is not measurable per say.
This means that the amount of solder needed will be only that amount needed
to form a
properly wetted solder fillet. In some cases, the acceptable solder fillet
on class 1 & 2
products is so minimal that only that amount is what is needed to give you
proper wetting
physics.

Also if hand soldering the "G" will not be as noticeable since the part
termination will be down against the pads. With solder paste being applied
first and the part placed on top a "G" will be more noticeable.   Jon

     Can anyone please explain me the definition of "Wetted Fillet"
mentioned in
chapter 12 of IPC-A-610C.
For example
          Solder Thickness (Dimension G).
          Acceptable Class 1,2,3 = Properly wetted fillet evident.
