hi Mike
some years ago (in the 93 to be precice) i've evaluated a no-clean fluxer
(RF 32-DM, alphagrillo) with passable ionic contamination and resulting in a
excellent adhereance of the subsequent applied conformal coating (a PUR
based Peters-type) over 4 different solder resist types.
This result was found for no-cleaned as well as cleaned with 4 different
solvents resp. saponifiers (at this evaluation we have compared 11 different
fluxers)
