the explanations of ever longer lead times from our SEA fabs
is rising domestic market .
Considering the main component of this domestic rise is CH,
this is indeed a maelstrom effect :
some of the CH owned OEM's almost ceased outside contracts.
We have to validate fabs as ongoing issue,
as it is very difficult to receive bulk from few fabs only ;
if you don't own them .
Same goes for laminate validations,
the bow/delam/etc. tests through reflow/chamber are on increase as well .

I'd agree the worst is to come,
to a point of gains for cheaper substitutes.

what is now the situation for FR4? Are there still delivery problems?

I just spoke to one of the major glass fibre maker and they say that the
major impact is still to come.

Any comments on that?
