Hi Bob!

Are you sure it was Texas Instruments PN# TMS320C6201GJC200? It's got a heavy
metal heat sink on top of it...and it is quite heavy.

I've placed a lot of other T.I. BGA's as well and never had any problems.
I've got a digital picture of the "squished" balls if you would like to see
it.

The paste print was good and not smudged at all...I don't know if I have any
bridging or not because I can't see with the xray I have.

Wonder what you're doing different than I or Rick Thompson are doing? Rick
stated that he had bridging problems until he started shimming the part...if
we're talking about the same part that is...
