It seems I may have missed the original posting - probably hit the Delete
key too soon.

You make an interesting comment in respect to plasma etching and then
encapsulate with an RTV.

If you check out the recent postings from Brian Ellis (hello Brian) and Alan
Brewin, they point out that silicones are not good moisture barriers.

Your procedure seems extreme whereas I feel sure a conventional coating will
do the job. Why do you have concerns about coatings for high voltage
circuits?

As for new technology, maybe you would like to consider solventless or
latest water based coatings? If you would like more info, please ask off
line.
