Unless you are concerned abour the Delta T of ceramic caps you should run
the solder temp at 280-500 degres F. Yes, a low solder temperature will
result in skips and insufficient hole fill.

Subject: [TN] Wave solder pot twemperature

Is there a reccomendation on how hot the wave solder temperature should run
at
the pot/ We run at 450F and we are seeing some no solder on BSMT's is there
an
correlation in temperature vs no solders?
Thanks for any responses
Ivan Barrios
