          When I was a soldermask rep, one of my customers bought some 
          clear LPI soldermask from me to cover up his fiducials.  He 
          and his customers were very pleased with the result because 
          they could clearly see the fiducials and the fiducials did 
          not cover with solder during HASL.
          
          MacDermid had the clear LPI soldermask.

 Yessiree.  Didn't mean to endorse the What They Thought Of... 
 I think (hope) we were at least kind enough to provide a mask 
 artwork in the event a photo- or screen printed method could 
 be devised.
