Dow Corning has a product whihc is supposed to remove traces of silicon. I don't
remember the name. Our rep would be glad to fill you in if you don't have a
contact for Dow.

Can anyone suggest methods of cleaning cast aluminum plates of silicone
residue (from a silicone-based machining oil)? These plates must be clean
enough to bond to using a structural epoxy.
