We currently use pallets made ourselves from high temp material double sided
with copper. We fabricate the pallets using our depanelizer (router) to hold
the PCMCIA boards rigid during assembly.
I would caution against flexing the board as you remove them from the
pallets. Excessive deflection can cause cracking of SMD ceramic components,
and these thin boards are easy to flex!.
