Our group is currently working on studying the backplanes in regards 
     to its manufacture and assembly.  I was wondering if somebody could 
     point me to the right direction by providing me with a reading list or 
     sending me an email on the following:
     
        A. Backplane Assembly:
                - types of assembly
                - machinery required
     
        B. Backplane manufacturing
                - how different is it from PCB mfg?
                - special equipment outside of 'standard' multilayer PCB 
                        mfg?
     
     If any of you have information on how the size of the backplane market 
     alone, I would appreciate hearing from you.
