Greetings Gerry and all:
Best to check with your proprietary supplier for the density of your
hard gold.  Pure, soft golds usually have densities close to the
density of wrought gold.    See "Properties of Electrodeposited
Mwetals and Alloys"  by Safranek, published by AESF.
