Go to the local art or craft supply store and get a kit for putting a
patina on copper, it has an accelerator to bring out the blue and a stop
to keep it from going further. That may work and it only costs a few
bucks. I don't know any brand names.

Subject: [TN] Exposed Copper Detection
Is there a chemical application that can be used to discolor exposed
copper such that it can be more easily detectible visually? In other
words, is there a way to chemically accelerate verdigris or cause some
other reaction to turn any exposed copper green or blue?
