In Japanese (English) they are;
Seiri (Sorting)
Seiton (Storage)
Seiso (Shining)
Seiketsu (Standardize)
Shitsuke (Sustain)
5S is a powerful tool that can realize amazing improvements in productivity.
I highly recommend using 5S to improve manufacturing processes, but it
applies to ANY process.

Subject: [TN] What are the 5S's?
Can anyone offer the phonetic pronunciation for the five S's that are the
keys to lean manufacturing?
Also, is there a forum similar to TechNet that focuses on lean
manufacturing?
Thanks,
Josue Barocio
