We still dispense all of our small volumes and prototypes ,
also inline dispensing adds to stencil where we need more paste on the
pad/hole,
(cures cap thombstoning instantly , for example)
As far as validations, being FDA controlled, you're on the right address :
Top gun in paste after all process criteria (it wicks nicely) and cyclings
(7 months to IPC-SM-785, 0-100'C)is :
indium NC-SMQ90, -400+500mesh, ask indium folks for ResMed's 200gms syringe
(you'll need 20-25psi to move it),
or standard 50gms (too many changes and purges in long runs , you need
7-10psi [constant])

Hi Technetters,
I am using Panasert GLue Dispenser HDP-III. Recently one of my PCBs has
been changed to double sided one with reflow on one side. I donot want to
invest on a solder paste printer since the volumes are not so high at this
moment. Has anybody tried solder paste dispensing using a glue dispenser.
What type of solder paste is to be used. (Any vendors qualified???)
Any information will be highly appreciated.
