Hi ya'll!
Couple of quick questions about flex circuits:
1. What kind of hole on a flex circuit with a anular pad on the top and
bottom of PTH location, and a plated barrel (even if it is only 10-mils
tall), considered? Supported, or unsupported?
2. Does clinching axial through hole components on a flex circuit with the
above described flex (there's also a stiffener that is bonded to the flex
where the components are located) buy you anything as far as solder joint
strength? (I'm not talking a full clinch, just a partial clinch)
Thanks!
