Hi all!

Well, here's my next problem (does it ever end?). We've got a DEK 288 that
came with a ECU (Environmental Control Unit), and it has one of the two upper
blower motors that need replacing. Problem is, I can't get the darn thing out
of the machine!

DEK has a part number for it, but can't tell me how to take it out. The
manual doesn't have a remove and replace procedure for it, there's no
illustrated parts breakdown either.

The machine was made for DEK by a company called Clive Hurley Environmental
Engineering I think, but they're over in the UK. I sent a email asking for
some help, but I haven't received a reply yet.

DEK still offers ECU's, but they say they have changed who they buy them from
and they don't have anyone there that knows about the unit I have...even
though there's DEK logos etched into the stainless cabinet...the unit is only
5-years old too.

So, I'm asking if anyone out there has ever worked with these units before
and can help me?

I've taken every screw that I can see off, I even got the housing off the
motor. The shaft coming from the motor goes though a wall below it and
connects to a squirrel cage. I can't get the squirrel cage off the shaft. I
removed what I thought was the set screw for the squirrel cage, but the cage
still won't slip off the shaft...

HELP!
