assume a perfect friction fit between a round smooth pin and a plated hole each with +-0 tolerance

how much allowance, minimum, should be given to allow minimum solder wicking vertically along the pin and down the barrel?
just the annular amount for the solder itself in a perfect world

i could not seem to find info on this, additional real world variables would be accounted and allowed for afterwards

i realize there are solders and there are solders and probably soldering temperatures involved but just a starting point number would be interesting for the issue at hand
thx
