I like the (fresh)idea. but have not seen anyone using that. May be the
blowing air can disturb the solder while it is solidifying and leave its
marks(footprints-duckpads). May be this can create mess of solder balls all
around? May be this can migrate briges instead of complete removal.?Air blow
holes /pinholes ??
Most people have sorted the solder bridging problem by matching solder mask,
flux and wave solder parameters. Solder bridge can be due to design factors-
vias too close to pads or lead length or lead crimping problem.
I would like to have more info on this as we also do find this problem.

Subject: Hot Air Knife after solder pot?? Anyone use this?
Date: Friday, June 06, 1997 7:45PM
I would like to retrofit a hot-air knife in our waves after wave reflow to
reduce bridge opportunities on designs that are not optimized.
We use some Centruy 2000s and SOLTEC waves.
