Thanks Steve for the information, wonder if it will work for other cameras????    I found a cheap $40 40-200x microscope camera that is usb, comes with it's own lighting supply, no software though, so unless you have capture software might not be too useful.   Look online.

Hi All,

 

Read an article yesterday about an attachment that was being offered for Iphones that could position the phone camera into a microscope and take pictures for around $60 -75.

 

There was a comment to the article saying why pay the money for that when you can make your cell phone into a microscope? So I was intrigued. I took a 5X Bausch and Lomb eye-loop and held it over the lens of my BlackBerry Torch, and by golly it works!
