SMT Plus [ http://www.smtplus.com/ ] does not meet IPC-SM-782 standards but
does it meet IPC-A-610 standards for manufacturing? We're looking at buying SMT
Plus libraries to incorporate into or PCB design process. We are constantly
trying to fit more and more on our boards and smaller patterns are better. Our
manufacturer expressed concern about using SMT Plus patterns. MAy result in
lower yields rates and compromise board quality and reliability.
We're looking for some feedback from SMT Plus user. SMT Plus patterns are
smaller than IPC-SM-782 standards. I have spoken to Mr. Blackenhorn (SMT Plus
Developer) and found his arguments are sound but need to confirm reliability.
Please complete the following Survey if you have used SMT Plus in your PCB
design process or first hand manufacturing concerns or successes.

What were your best and worse experiences with regards SMT Plus patterns or

What Manufacturers feedback have you received?
