To be sure you are aware of stuff that may be obvious, although Ferric
Chloride is not common in the US for use on PCB, it is the etchant of choice
for a nearby industry, the photochemical machining industry (PCMI), which
uses it to etch Copper.  This is the industry that makes lead frames, and
solder paste screens.

They have an industry association, and we are in touch with them.  If you
want info on how to reach them, let me know
