Matt Byrne(Hadco) related experience with fungus in brightener as a
nodule source.

Timothy Gaylor reports nodules of smaller size.

QUESTIONS FOR THESE GENTLEMEN AND THE GROUP:

Wouldn't a polarity shift with unrectified or rippled current cause
nonuniform plating conditions whereby the brightener (or something else)
could be occluded?  Could this change in crystalline habit result in a
nodule?
