The recently held SMI conference in San Jose had loads of information
on silver, palladium, and other alternative finishes to tin/lead. You
should contact Jim McGuire (Boeing Defense 206-657-9063) - I know he
has the proceedings!

alternative to HASL?
What production PCB fabricators use either of these solderability
finishes?
