Jim,

Check with your paste manufacturer and investigate packaging options
available to you. I have seen small foil packages of paste prepared in
specific volume amounts as you specify by your need. If for example, 100
grams is sufficient for your printer to adequately load your squeegees, and
this volume would complete your small run, and this is a normal situation,
then having your paste packaged in 100 gram foil packs would be the way to
go. You simply remove them from refrigeration in time to recover to room
temperature, tear the end, squeeze, and then discard the empty foil package
(recycled the same as dross from the wave). This technique minimizes paste
exposure to the air, and a more efficient use of paste volume. The down side
is the packaging may increase you cost slightly, but it would seem to be
beneficial in both handling, waste, and cost in the long run.

Hope this helps.
