TechNet,

Has anyone conducted--of know of--a study on the reliability of SMELF
(square end-cap cylindrical components)?

Also, how have assemblers treated SMELFs with regard to J-STD-001B? Are
they treated as square end components (per 9.2.6.4), or as MELFs (9.2.6.5)?

Thanks,

Mike Buetow
