Pondering "reopen". How does one do that with a tin can?

Wow amazing and timely, just got into a conversation with a fellow technician over this very subject yesterday. He was looking at the film adhesives from Circuit Technology and I prefer to use a two part rapid set epoxy, due to the stated reasons.
I believe the copy we have of 7711A/7721A recommends thermally bonded adhesives. My issue is that when the land or pad is soldered to, the trace can shift or lift as the "glue" is heated. I was originally trained using Loctite super glue with a liquid activator, however again when the area is heated the bonding agent sometimes releases. I have had best results using BARCO BOND MB-165 quick set epoxy made by Astro Chemical, sets in 10-15 seconds, cures in a couple of minutes, I use their 100X product for board repair, it has longer working and cure times, on the order of 20 minutes, usually will mix in some shredded board when I need a large fill or strength and to color match.
I know it isn't totally what you are looking for but may be an alternate.

Subject: [TN] 2-part epoxy for pcb repair
Good afternoon,
I am drawing an absolute blank trying to remember the 2-part epoxy that I've used in the past for PCB repair (sheesh)!
Can anybody refresh my memory? The little epoxy packets from Circuit Technology Center are pretty pricey. I remember that I used something else, but can't remember what it was?
Thanks!
Steve Gregory
