Hi Steve,
        We have a totally separate procedure for engineering prototypes.
It was written as vague as possible to allow for us "good old boys" to
use "whatever it takes" to check for form/fit/function in the early stages.
Once the drawings etc. catch up, we have very stringent procedures from
then on and a ~Final~ prototype goes through qual testing.
        Hope this is worth two cents!

Just curious...how do you deal with  ISO and prototypes? Do you do full-blown work instructions?
