Richard,
I've heard once about such thermal labels but I don't think they will be able to tell you the whole story about what the board went through inside the reflow.

A company named "Electronic Controls Design Inc." has a product - "M.O.L.E".
This is a recorder that can be passed through the reflow oven and then connected to a PC (equipped with the matching software). Then you can get the exact temperature profile the recorder went through.
I think this can give you easy and accurate measurements of the temperature profile inside your reflow oven.

The companie's full name and address:
---------------------------------------------------------
Electronic Controls Design Inc.
4287A SE International Way
Milwaukie, OR 97222-8825 U.S.A

(503) 659-6100 Within Oregon
FAX (503) 659-4422

If you want further details, contact me directly through my E-mail and I'll be glad to provide all the information I can get for you.

Yehuda
