I asked a question about this a couple of weeks ago:
We have a flex with a stiffener.
E=============[ o o o o o o o ]
Supposedly they are palletized (haven't seen them yet)
and I think the bare board vendor is delivering them
with the rigid portions attached with breakaways,
but the floppy part is still floppy.
When I asked about this on TechNet, several people
responded that these could be set into a fixture to
solder the LEDs on through the oven, but I've looked
through every book I have and I can't find a picture
to show the people downstairs (first flex ever here)
Does anyone have a picture of this?
Or an easy way to describe how to support the
floppy part through the oven?
Several people said "we do this all the time" but I
still can't picture it... sorry
thanks,
Jack
