Instructions on anodizing are fine, as far as they go, but there is a final
step required, where the newly formed oxide is hydrated. This is usually
done in warm deionized water, with a trace of Nickle salts. The Nickle salts
speed the process, and may not be completely required. Immerse the panel in
the deionized water for a few minutes...then pull out, dry, etc.
