Hi Marco,

I am happy to provide answers to your questions.  I think there are
probably others on Tech-Net that have similar questions, but don't know who
to ask.

I don't know of any text book that describes the phototooling process well.
 IPC Standard D-310C contains a lot of information about phototools, but
most of it is over 10 years old and pre-dates laser photoplotters.  Still,
it contains useful information about contacting techniques and general
process information.  We (IPC) are in the process of writing some more
updated documents.

I also have several documents (Article reprints, Technical bullitins, etc)
that DuPont has published to address various phototooling issues.  If you
e-mail directly to me your postal address, I will be glad to send you
copies of these.  To be fair, other vendors of phototooling products also
have published technical information that you might find useful.
