Hi Werner
Originaly I have had the intention to list also IPC-D-279 because I estimate
IPC-D-279 as most suitable guideline for SMT PBA's and all SMT designers
shall (or shall? or must?, little joke, J-STD related) be aware of
IPC-D-279, and IPC-SM-785. May be a further issue could consider also recent
Guenter-papers). Because the character as guideline IPC-279 would be refered
as "to consider" but not as "specification". And so - because IPC-279 should
also work out of the reference, IPC 2221, §7.4. - I've removed 279 from the
list.
Hey ya'll! would you list also IPC-D-279 at such a default standard-set
(IPC-octuple)?
Bernhard
