We are currently looking into alternatives to HASL on our PWB's. Our
boards contain
primarily fine pitch surface mount parts with some thru-hole. The
alternatives I have seen are
OPC (Entek Plus CU-106A), Nickel/Gold, and Electroless Palladium. In all
of the data
the I have gathered on alternatives, I have yet to see a comparison between
the alternatives.
Does anyone have any data comparing the various alternatives or personal
experience? I
would appreciate any input that you may have. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Mike Forrester
