Most people with troubles in Allegro's RS274X can solve
those issues by reading the fine manual. I suspect the
"dropped pads" issue is related to the software doing
exactly what you tell it. Granted, it is a little non-
intuitive what exactly you should say...
We have been using it for some time and after some teething
troubles circa 1997, we have not had a reliability problem.
Yet.
