I have an engineer stating that each time we rev a drawing that we fill
out the "DRAWN BY" "CHECKED BY" and "APPROVED BY".
I thought I saw in ASME Y14.100-2004 where it said that you filled those
blocks out initially, then you controlled changes in the rev block and
by ECN/ECR approval. At least that is how I remembered doing it in the
MIL-STD-100 days.
Can anyone send me a snippet out of the ASME of what I'm talking about?
Or am I talking through my hat?
(I'm going to buy the publication but I need something for the argument
at the moment.)
Thanks a bunch.
