Thanks, Eric I didn't give much info because it's a difficult one to
explain. The sensor is actually a painted metal plate being used to detect
capacitance (the plate is acting as one half of the capacitor). It is in
permanent contact and I believe we may be starting to get a small capacitor
at the contact point????
